sinopse

‘Stand up Comedy’ is a stripped humor show, which gathers a bunch of funny people, with nerve enough to perform without any support of make up, costume, light or supporting actors. They are humorists who perform standing in front of the audience, just with the microphone and the text as a company. With material (text) written by the comedians themselves, exploring the most unusual and – of course! – funny aspects of life. Those situations everyone goes through, however, filtered by a very humorous look that sees what is the most hilarious about the everyday.

Formed by five comedians from Rio de Janeiro and their guests, the group brought the Stand Up Comedy to Brazil, a pocket show format which was acclaimed in The United States, and nowadays makes audiences laugh in theaters, pubs, night clubs and concert-cafés spread all over the world.

A light, agile show, focused on observation capacity, text intelligence and ability to make people laugh. An experience which changes itself in each performance, always including new texts, new discoveries, new opportunities to burst out laughing.
