sinopse

Proceeding with the research on the narrative possibilities of gesture, Linhas Aéreas invests in the language radicalization, abolishing the spoken speech and merging dance, circus and theater. From the humanity primordium to the modern everyday, several situations involving power, cooperation, conquests and overcoming, serve as a basis for a reflection on the man´s relations with his environment. The contemplative state of the primitive universe in contrast to the technological chaos allows an immersion in issues which go from natural power to the incarceration of the affections, from the thirsty of discovery to the enclosure by insecurity, from the artistic creation to the slave work. Using the human species chronology as raw material, the spectacle “O Animal na Sala” intends to instigate the questioning of how man has been dealing with himself as part of the habitat.
