Someone Has Just Died Outside
Three lonely people are waiting to meet somebody at the same bar. Laura prepares to settle scores, while Marcela waits for her sister, and Cláudio waits for a woman who may be his true love. Until the waiter says there has been a death outside. As a time puzzle, the plot continues at an unusual pace with repetitions that are different depending on the person who dies outside. That person determines the relationship of the characters inside the bar, ranging from a romantic date to an attempted murder.
"The text and the show win the audience over for two reasons: the way the text is structured from the sequence of the scenes and the appreciation of the superficiality of the relationships that ultimately turns out to indicate the presence of a latent and dangerous depth. Now playing at Teatro Sesi, Rio de Janeiro, it is a comedy that makes the audience laugh while watching it and reflect on it after they leave it. In this case, only merits."
