Caravan – Memories of a Circus Ring
In the twilight of his career, a clown known as Caturrão is making his last performance, while the circus will keep touring. In his dressing room, he is visited by a little girl, a fan who listens to him recall the places he’s seen, as he offers a fond account of his trajectory.
A tribute by the Circo Roda group to traditional traveling circuses, through a poetic narrative that exalts the cultural aspects of each Brazilian region.
Circus acts, such as the trapeze, acrobatics, juggling, wire, magic tricks and revisited clown acts succeed one another on stage, depicting Brazilian circus tradition while contemplating a simple circus-theater melodrama.
