The Omission of the Coleman Family

Description

Written and directed by Claudio Tolcachir, the play about a family where conflicting relations build a permanent atmosphere of tension in their lives has been praised both locally and overseas. Revolving around a grandmother who shields them from the surrounding chaos, each family member is constantly struggling to survive: Memé with her flaws and conflicts as a woman, and her children: Veronica, Marito, with whom Meme has a special relationship, since Meme has mental conditions but also a very special way of perceiving reality; Gabi, and Damián. The family falls apart after the grandmother’s death, but what are they ignoring? Who are they ignoring? How do they save each other? How do they save themselves? The cast also features Gonzalo Ruiz as Hernán and Jorge Castaño as the doctor.
